Hi, I'm Tom. I'm an audio, comms and electronics engineer based in London.
For the past 10 years I've been involved with sound in theatre; West-End, international touring, fringe, with repertory theatres and receiving venues. For a full CV, please see my LinkedIn page (I update it often).
Stemming from theatre, I have been heavily involved with communication systems in the entertainment industry; 2-wire, 4-wire, matrix and wireless. Should you be a hire company needing training, should you need a hardware repair, or some consultation about a potential upgrade please get in touch; I'm sure I can offer you some advice.
I am also involved with A/V installs; be it theatres, nightclubs, schools, hotels. I can be and have been involved in all elements, from quoting to designing, installing, making patchbays, programming, commissioning... all of it.
Most recently I have been spending a lot of time with Crestron and QSC QSys, programming nightclub and theatre systems.
Aside from these worlds (but often led from) I also design and build prototypes and short-runs of audio boxes and circuits. For example; you want to interface a 2-wire comms system with GPIO so you can record your comms system for training... Get in touch and we can talk about your requirements.
Employing these same skills, I have also been designing and building guitar effects for around 15 years. I do this and looking after (read: setting up, restoring, and modifying) guitars as Mr. Offset. You can see what I'm up to at my Mr. Offset page.
If any of these skills sound like what you need, click on the Email Me page and say hi.
